Product Description
The sealing ring fits around the inside rim of the cover and forms a pressure-tight seal between the cover and the body of the pressure cooker during cooking or canning. Presto sealing rings are made slightly larger to allow for initial shrinkage from heat. When installing a sealing ring, position it in the cover at the 12:00 position, then 6:00 position, and then at the 9:00 and 3:00 position and spread it out between those 4 points.
